Earlier today (9/17/18) A heist at the Fleeca branch on Great Ocean HWY was targeted for a robbery!
The perpetrators got away they fled the scene loosing the courage to continue the heist.
3 were left dead while 1 teller hiding behind the counter was able to survive.
~Survivors Testimony
" I was behind the counter searching for the coin stack to give to a customer when I heard shouting followed by shooting. My immediate reaction was to press the silent alarm. As I sat there fearing for my life I heard one of the robbers begin to choke up in hesitation. Soon another followed through and they left leaving the final robber on his own. He ended up in a fire fight with the police ending with him taking his life."
